And so it begins...

Here are some corny pictures we took by our Christmas tree. Man is it ever hard to get a good picture of 2 kids!

Oh wow! being so gentle!

Rex loves the "tummy time" (that expression is too cheesy, even for me and I love the cheese)

And she isn't even touching him. She has come a long way!

Milestones in November

We have been taking some pretty BIG steps in the Letkeman home this month.

Rex is starting to smile and respond to people's voices (especially his mom's because he loves her the most). He is also developing a love/hate relationship with his sister. When he sees her approach you can almost see him cringe and brace himself for whatever is about to happen. However, he also looks around whenever he hears her talking. (Probably because he wants to insure her distance at all times.)

Meadow continues to SMOTHER (word of the year) her brother and just can't get enough of him. She also has big news... After many months of talking about it and trying without any success, Meadow has finally peed and pooped in the toilet. All it took was a phone call from her good friend Gillian to tell her that she had "pooped in the potty"! She has been accident free at home for 3 days and is well on her way! YEAH!

"It's potty time! It's potty time! When it goes beep beep, it's potty time!" (Potty time song)

Baking muffins for our peeps at Elmwood School

"Oh oh here she comes, watch out boy she'll chew you up!"

Big smiles

More big smiles!

"Oh ma gad!"

Ahh! That's better!

Halloween

À l'Aventure

We have had some pretty fun times lately. Meadow and Cohen had their first adventure to the movies. We went to Winnipeg to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua( of all things). They did quite well and sat through about half the movie until we got shushed by a 75 year old lady. Then John and Ang took them out into the hall. As you can see they were very enthralled by the big screen.

John, Pilks and the kids got to go for a ride in Ed Penner's "buggy-quad". Hard to say who had the most fun...

Rex Visits St-Malo

For Mémère Trudel's Birthday we went to St-Malo for a sleepover. We had to be very creative with sleeping arrangements but we managed to all sleep under the same roof. Me, John, Rex, Meadow, Sophie, Jan, Wayne, Rox, Rich, Mom and Dad. Who says you can't go home?

Having a bath in Mémère and Pépère's bathroom sink.

Ugh! Did she HAVE to come along!

Playing dress-up with Mémère.

Nice make-up!

Halloween

This year Halloween is a bit more exciting for Meadow rather than scary. She understands that the monsters are pretend and is rather interested in the creepy things. She loves dressing up, pumpkins and let's not forget candy! We went to Boo at the Zoo and although the adults thought it was a bit lame, the kids thought it was awesome. Meadow was especially pumped about the princesses giving her high-5 and seeing Shrek's house. This year Halloween is a bit more exciting for Meadow rather than scary. Photo shoot with Matante Rox

We had a little photo shoot with Matante Rox to get a few snap shots of Rex and Meadow for Rex's birth announcement card. I'm super pumped with the way they turned out! It's fun to have such a talented Matante! Thanks Rox! Viewers comments appreciated!
