Rex Visits St-Malo

For Mémère Trudel's Birthday we went to St-Malo for a sleepover. We had to be very creative with sleeping arrangements but we managed to all sleep under the same roof. Me, John, Rex, Meadow, Sophie, Jan, Wayne, Rox, Rich, Mom and Dad. Who says you can't go home?

Having a bath in Mémère and Pépère's bathroom sink.

Ugh! Did she HAVE to come along!

Playing dress-up with Mémère.

Nice make-up!

Halloween

This year Halloween is a bit more exciting for Meadow rather than scary. She understands that the monsters are pretend and is rather interested in the creepy things. She loves dressing up, pumpkins and let's not forget candy! We went to Boo at the Zoo and although the adults thought it was a bit lame, the kids thought it was awesome. Meadow was especially pumped about the princesses giving her high-5 and seeing Shrek's house. This year Halloween is a bit more exciting for Meadow rather than scary. Photo shoot with Matante Rox

We had a little photo shoot with Matante Rox to get a few snap shots of Rex and Meadow for Rex's birth announcement card. I'm super pumped with the way they turned out! It's fun to have such a talented Matante! Thanks Rox! Viewers comments appreciated!

Still Smothering

John, Rex and Meadow having a little nap.

Rex and Lexi - 5 weeks apart

Gillian, Meadow and Rory's modeling debut.

Meadow reading to her babies.

Rex sucking his thumb.

Meadow and Sophie doing some good smothering.

Still smothering.

Wow, Pépère actually gets a hug!

Some more smothering!

Crafty! This is Meadow's way of seeing Rex getting his diaper changed. Where does she get these ideas?

As you can see, Meadow LOVES her baby brother. The novelty still hasn't worn off, but she is learning that sometimes Rex needs his space. She loves to try to push him in his swing. She doesn't quite understand the science behind the batteries yet. Her favorite is watching me change his diaper. She is a very good helper!

As for Rex, he is a pretty good baby! He wakes up once at about 3-4 am and then sleeps until about 8-9 am. He only cries when he's hungry or when his sister is all up in his face. So far he's pretty laid back! Now I have to go knock on wood!
