Milestones in November

We have been taking some pretty BIG steps in the Letkeman home this month.

Rex is starting to smile and respond to people's voices (especially his mom's because he loves her the most). He is also developing a love/hate relationship with his sister. When he sees her approach you can almost see him cringe and brace himself for whatever is about to happen. However, he also looks around whenever he hears her talking. (Probably because he wants to insure her distance at all times.)

Meadow continues to SMOTHER (word of the year) her brother and just can't get enough of him. She also has big news... After many months of talking about it and trying without any success, Meadow has finally peed and pooped in the toilet. All it took was a phone call from her good friend Gillian to tell her that she had "pooped in the potty"! She has been accident free at home for 3 days and is well on her way! YEAH!

"It's potty time! It's potty time! When it goes beep beep, it's potty time!" (Potty time song)

Baking muffins for our peeps at Elmwood School

"Oh oh here she comes, watch out boy she'll chew you up!"

Big smiles

More big smiles!

"Oh ma gad!"

Ahh! That's better!

Halloween

À l'Aventure

We have had some pretty fun times lately. Meadow and Cohen had their first adventure to the movies. We went to Winnipeg to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua( of all things). They did quite well and sat through about half the movie until we got shushed by a 75 year old lady. Then John and Ang took them out into the hall. As you can see they were very enthralled by the big screen.

John, Pilks and the kids got to go for a ride in Ed Penner's "buggy-quad". Hard to say who had the most fun...
